Spencer Powell comes from a long line of builders who have been in the industry for over 110 years, dating back to his great-grandfather. Spencer began his career in marketing working for his uncle’s business where he helped successfully execute the company’s shift from only offering home-building services to include a remodeling division during the 2008 housing crash, a pivotal decision which helped support new home revenue until demand for building services was renewed. Since then, Spencer has proven his expertise in helping builders, remodelers, and contractors generate leads and close more sales by using the power of their own companies’ websites.
As CEO of Builder Funnel, an inbound marketing agency and Platinum HubSpot Partner in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Spencer revamped his uncles’ digital marketing efforts to boost their remodeling division from $2 million to $10 million in annual revenue. Spencer has helped hundreds of companies around the U.S. and Canada build better marketing and sales systems by turning their websites into lead generating machines that work for them 24/7. He holds several digital marketing certifications including the Inbound Marketing Certification and Inbound Sales Certification.
With education at the core of Builder Funnel, Spencer also writes for their widely followed blog and hosts the popular industry podcast, Builder Funnel Radio where he interviews industry experts and shares tried and proven marketing, sales, and business strategies.
